Welcome Message From Chief Executive Officer Eula L. Burge

PROACTIVE COMMUNITY SERVICES (PCS) is an organization that recognizes the many facets of chronic disease among people of color throughout the United States and in Illinois' south suburbs. The organization seek to empower individuals and communities to combat the devastating impact chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension, heart disease, asthma, HIV/AIDS and various cancers continues to have on minority populations in south suburban communities. PCS has established the goal of enhancing the efficacy of an ongoing effort to solidify an alliance that will not only fill the void, but also serve as a central clearinghouse of consistent, reliable, and free information, prevention education, and accessible health care for underserved individuals and communities.
